Porokeratosis is an inherited disorder of skin keratinization, characterized clinically by annular lesions with well-defined keratotic borders and histopathologically by cornoid lamellae. The disease has several clinical variants. Disseminated superficial porokeratosis (DSP) is a rare variant with considerable extension in its clinical presentation. Although uncommon, DSP has been described in association with dermal amyloid deposits, with very few cases currently reported in the literature. We present a case of DSP in an elderly man who histologically showed dermal amyloid deposits, which had a good response to the treatment administered.
