In 2019, the pandemic caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) led the world to a desperate search for immunization. Since the mass vaccination, various adverse reactions have been reported, mostly cutaneous. Many of the reported cutaneous events are secondary to ribonucleic acid messenger (RNAm) vaccines. Fixed drug eruption is a type IV hypersensitivity reaction characterized by the recurrence of lesions at identical sites with each exposure to the causative agent, most of which are drug-induced. We report the first Latin American case of fixed-drug eruption due to Pfizer RNAm vaccine.
